Front Range Foraging Tours Health and Safety Disclaimer

The purpose of the ‘Front Range Foraging Tours’ (‘tours’) is to encourage appreciation for the variety and significance of local food in the Front Range of Colorado. All information shared on the tours is accurate to the best of the host’s knowledge.

Wild edibles are not harvested, the easy-walking tours are purely educational. The easy-walking tours are hosted along clearly marked gravel forest trails and mountain trails in the Front Range of Colraodo, Boulder, the Chautauqua Park and Boulder’s Enchanted Mesa Trail, Boulder’s McClintock Lower Trail and Boulder’s McClintock Upper Trail.

Our tour hosts are not trained guides or rescue specialists. The tour host assumes no liability for the actions of the participants. Participants attend the tour at their own risk. Participants must be prepared to find their own way to and from the meetup location. Participants are advised to wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather forecast.

No wild plant or mushrooms should be consumed unless the participants are certain of its identity and toxicity and of their personal potential for allergic reactions. The tour hosts do not encourage anyone to ingest, in any form, any mushroom or wild plant, based solely on information in the foraging tour.
